Celebration 60’s style!

Keeping the style, I will tell you today of another event that I went to last week. This one is more on the glamour side, but it has something in common with the other one, the summerish concert that I adored: Moonlight Breakfast! Hahaha, yes to times in one week, I’m that lucky!

The glamorous event took part at Fratelli and it was a big celebration of Peroni 50’s Anniversario.

The classes, the elegance, don’t even get me started on the extravagant and sophisticated looks of the guests, all of them made this celebration a pure Italian, 60’s, fashion show!

But the pick of the night was the revel of the objects made by 7 designers involved in one of the most amazing design project:  Instalart/Obiect/001 inspired by Peroni!

Each one of the designers had the possibility to talk about their achievement on the stage in the middle of the one of the most chic public I have ever seen in a long time, really long time.

Fashion advice of the day!

What I really liked at this refined event was the atmosphere made by each and every one invited who accepted the challenge to dress like the 60’s.

I know you don’t always have time or the energy to go and buy special cloths for just one party, but this it’s all about.

The gorgeous Vespa’s or the vintage Fiat and Alfa Romeo, would have look plain and simple if there weren’t short cool dresses, big hats, crazy dots and perfect make-ups. Elegant Italian walks on the red carpet and soberly tall men made every inch of the place the perfect combination with exquisite bottles of Peroni.

So, if you decide to go to an event that has a special dress code, you should accept their challenge! Play with it and pick whatever makes you feel great or why not, play a role it’s your chance to have fun and act differently.

PS: I made the challenge!

My kind of designated blogger

I know I’ve been talking about this for far too long and I know that everyone else has been talking about this also, but it’s really something, I mean something big for us and for how things are usually done in this industry.

Romanian Design Week it’s amazing, all the places that support it look mega cool and the opportunities offered to the young new designer, make wanna rent al old house in the middle of the town and start making the cloths of my dreams!

But this festival is getting even better now that Ana Morodan (a kind of a role model to me) has just become a big part of this through the role of designated blogger.

And like always, Peroni is always where the coolness factor is and that’s why I’m really excited to be their Designated Fashion Blogger at Romanian Design Week!

Fashion advice of the day!

Get a role model or not, but do go visit the exhibition at Palatul Stirbei, it’s worth every minute there.
