Dazzling pictures set for auction!

Today an amazing thing is taking place: over 75,000 images are set to be auctioned by Profiles in History for an anonymous collector who purchased the images from Polish investors.

The images belong to one of the most renowned photographers, Milton Greene!

Milton photographed numerous celebrities including Marilyn Monroe, Marlene Dietrich, Cary Grant, Frank Sinatra, Grace Kelly, Sophia Loren, Audrey Hepburn, Andy Warhol and many more. However, it was his unique friendship and numerous photographs of Marilyn Monroe for which he is mostly remembered.

Milton & Marilyn met in 1952 while on assignment for Look Magazine and they quickly became close friends.  Eventually they created their own film production company, producing the films Bus Stop & The Prince and the Showgirl. Marilyn even lived with the Greene’s at their Connecticut home. During this time Milton was able to capture many beautiful images of Marilyn showcasing her moods. They were close friends for almost 10 years, and Milton photographed countless sittings of Marilyn, one of his most memorable was the “Black Sitting”.

Be like them, were one thing that makes you special, unique for one day, but unique!
My choice, a turban! Chic, bold, and very easy to wear, the turban can be that slick way of adding something when we don’t have other ways of making an outfit stand from a crowed.
Me, I needed something quick, that would hide my hear after an hour at the gym 😀 and that would give me an attitude plus on a day outside, in the spring. So I turned for online advice to three great personalities: Greta Garbo, Marlene Dietrich and Elizabeth Taylor. This is what I came about in my hunt for new ways to wear scarves.

The result, here below:
