Gentlemen always have a book at their armpits!

Today I hang in the wind regarding the theme of my article mostly because of a silly, not that known movie that I sow last night on HBO, named Liberal Arts. I cannot talk of it like an impressive story that will linger in my mind for many days to come, but the idea in the back, the draft concept , was quite close to my heart – literature, books that change your life, books that you are force to read at school and without even knowing it they shape your character.

Starting from this and a very intimate discussion with my mom, I stumbled upon, for the second time, on this video. I will not analyze it, because to me the images say it all. All I can add is that I’m in fact a dreamer. Oooooh what a dreamer!

The Sartorialist: Lunch for 25, Edition III

The sketch in my brain made over the years a male character out of this word, a chic, bohemia person, all fashion addict, with the knowledge of a Harvard professor, a preacher sense of respect and a body of a CK model. I know, it’s just a dream, but I did say I’m a dreamer!

Fashion advice of the day!

I will not, repeat will not get into the details of the love life and all this craziness, but I can say to all of you reading this choose the one with the most qualities, not just of the heart but of the senses too.

Over times all this starts to fade away, and it’s so good to still have the tween snap fedora bought in the prime of the life in an Italian walk through an old town.  And if the bookcase is full of old great writers even better!

One day I took the two little piggy’s out on a walk.

It came a time when the boyish girl had in some extent to transform into a woman. So, my dear mom decide to help me make that transitions by reading a couple of books that revealed what a woman is and the way it behavior should be.

In that stack there was this astonishing, strange but really good book called: A woman of thirty by Honore de Balzac. Through the many things that I found and strive to learn from it, was the fact that we women should keep all of our personalities (meaning child, boyish/girlish, mature woman, teacher, doctor, etc.) intact and use them wisely when needed.

Not forgetting this, made me one day at not such a really young age, to buy and happily wear a pair of crazy, extremely childish shoes. The piglets! Pink pigs with white and soft pink background.  Amazing!

The moment they came to my door, they were delivered by a nice lady Marushka, I felt madly in love. :))

Fashion advice of the day!

Don’t transform yourself in just one person, one typology. You are complex and it’s really good to show that, to be that confident that it will be no problem to present yourself to the world in any way you prefer. Be the boyish/girlish that wear animals as bags or shoes, be the teacher that always has a book in her purse, be the stylish that can wear with big grace the stiletto heel, or anything that you are, but remember you should really be that, fakes are not accepted!
